Class I Hexagon

In an icosahedral geodesic DGGS, a Class I Hexagon is oriented so that three of its vertices face vertices of the icosahedron. The vertices of a Class I Hexagon are rotated 30 degrees counter-clockwise from their respective vertices in a Class II Hexagon.[needs image]
